How to find a witch hut from a Minecraft seed

Where witch huts generate

Witch huts generate on the water surface of swamp and mangrove swamp biomes, raised on stilts. Placement is checked per swamp chunk, so not every swamp holds one - a seed scan tells you which nearby swamps actually have a hut instead of boating past empty marsh.

Why the surrounding swamp matters

Because the hut only spawns where a swamp chunk passes the roll, the biome around it is part of the find. The scan returns the hut coordinates, and you can confirm the swamp before travelling by looking at the biome map tab next to the results.

Building a witch farm

Witch huts are the anchor for witch farms. A hut-based farm yields redstone, glowstone dust, sugar, sticks, spider eyes and potion ingredients cheaply, which is why the closest hut is worth locating before you invest in the build.
