How to find a pillager outpost from a Minecraft seed
Where pillager outposts generate
Pillager outposts generate in almost any overworld biome, including deserts, plains, savannas and taigas, often close to a village. They sit on a sparse grid, and the dark-oak tower and black banners make them easy to spot once you are near.
Raids and how they start
Killing the outpost captain grants Bad Omen. Walk into a village with that effect and a raid begins, sending waves of pillagers, vindicators and ravagers. Outposts are how you farm raids deliberately - locate one near a village you want to defend.
Loot and the caged allay
The top chest holds crossbows, arrows, dark oak logs, potatoes and experience bottles. In the cage at the base you may find an iron golem, or in 1.19+ an allay - free a caged allay to start duplicating items.
The scan runs in your browser on the same free engine as the main SeedFinder console: no download, no login, and it reads Bedrock and Java seeds. Prefer to script it? Use the same engine over the REST API. See the API documentation.
